What does F31 mean?

Motor overtemperature detected by the TF sensor. This fault causes a stop without inhibiting the drive, meaning the "Ready" signal is maintained. This indicates the motor has exceeded its thermal limits and requires cooling.

Common Causes

  • Motor operating temperature exceeded sensor trip point
  • TF sensor wiring open circuit or incorrect connection to MOVITRAC® B
  • Disrupted physical connection between MOVITRAC® B and the motor's TF sensor
