F34

Ramp timeout

SEW Eurodrive · MOVITRAC 07B System

What does F34 mean?

The drive has failed to reach the start/stop speed within the specified ramp time. This fault can occur during a controlled stop if the stop ramp time t13 is exceeded, or if the set stop ramp (P136 / P146) is too short. It causes an immediate switch-off with inhibit.

Common Causes

  • Ramp time (start or stop) set too short for the load inertia or application dynamics
  • Drive exceeded stop ramp time t13 after inhibit removal
  • Parameter P136 or P146 (stop ramp time) configured to an insufficient duration

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Extend the start or stop ramp time (e.g., P136 / P146 for stop ramp).

  2. 2

Review the application's acceleration and deceleration requirements and adjust ramp times accordingly.
