Load loss detected

Lenze · i550 Protec Drive

¿Qué significa 65336 ?

During motor operation, if the motor load current falls below the threshold defined in parameter 0x4006:001 (P710.01) for the duration specified in parameter 0x4006:002 (P710.02), load loss protection is triggered. This indicates an unexpected drop in mechanical load.

Causas comunes

  • Mechanical uncoupling of the motor shaft from the driven load (e.g., broken belt, sheared coupling key, loose gearbox connection).
  • Sudden and significant decrease in process load (e.g., pump running dry, fan damper opening completely, material flow stopping).
  • Motor current sensor (CT) malfunction within the drive or incorrect scaling parameter (e.g., P2-15) causing erroneous current readings.
  • Incorrectly set load loss threshold (P710.01) or excessively long delay time (P710.02) for the specific application's minimum load profile.
  • Intermittent motor phase loss due to a loose terminal connection at the motor (T1, T2, T3) or drive output (U, V, W), or a faulty motor contactor.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

    1. Inspect the mechanical coupling between the motor shaft and the driven equipment for any signs of damage, detachment, or excessive play.

  2. 2

    2. Verify the integrity of all three motor phases by measuring current at motor terminals (T1, T2, T3) with a clamp-on ammeter and voltage with a multimeter, ensuring balance.

  3. 3

    3. Check relevant process variables (e.g., liquid level sensors, flow meters, damper position feedback) to confirm the actual load status of the driven equipment.

  4. 4

    4. Review and adjust drive parameters P710.01 (Load loss threshold) and P710.02 (Load loss delay time) to accurately reflect the application's minimum expected operating current.

  5. 5

    5. Compare the drive's displayed output current (e.g., P3-01) with a measurement from a calibrated external clamp meter to verify the drive's internal current measurement accuracy.

  6. 6

    6. Perform a controlled test run at a reduced speed and load (if safe) while observing the drive's output current and motor behavior to confirm load engagement.
