Clamp responded too often
Lenze · i550 Protec Drive
¿Qué significa 0x2387 ?
This fault occurs when the maximum current of the axis (display in 0x2DDF:002) has been reached too frequently in succession. This indicates the system is hitting current limits repeatedly.
Causas comunes
- Repeated mechanical jamming or obstruction in the driven axis, causing high current spikes.
- Insufficient motor sizing for the application's peak torque demands, leading to frequent current limit hits.
- Acceleration/deceleration ramps (e.g., P2-10, P2-11) configured too aggressively for the motor's capabilities and load inertia.
- Motor brake (if present) engaging or disengaging incorrectly, causing transient overcurrents during motion.
- Damaged or worn mechanical components (e.g., bearings, gears) increasing friction and required motor torque.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Monitor the actual current (0x6078) and torque reference via diagnostic tools during operation to identify peak load events.
- 2
Inspect the mechanical system for binding, misalignment, or obstructions preventing free movement of the axis.
- 3
Increase the acceleration and deceleration ramp times (e.g., P2-10, P2-11) in small increments and retest.
- 4
Verify the motor sizing against the application's peak and continuous torque requirements. Consider upgrading the motor or drive if consistently undersized.
- 5
Check the motor brake operation and wiring (e.g., terminals X1:1, X1:2) for proper release and engagement timing.
- 6
Lubricate moving parts and inspect bearings for excessive wear, replacing as necessary.
