What does A-17 mean?
The Key alarm indicates an issue with the display terminal's keypad. This fault is triggered if a key remains pressed for longer than 10 seconds, if the membrane switch is disconnected, or if the display terminal powers on while a key is already depressed.
Common Causes
- A key on the display terminal is stuck in the pressed position for an extended period (over 10 seconds).
- The membrane switch of the display terminal is disconnected or has failed internally.
- The display terminal was woken up or powered on with one or more keys already pressed.

If the fault persists after checking the keypad, consider replacing the display terminal as the membrane switch or internal components may be faulty.
