Output phase supervision

Vacon · NX All-in-One Application

Hva betyr 11 ?

The drive's current measurement system detects no current flowing in one of the motor phases. This typically signifies an open circuit in the motor's power path, potentially due to a disconnected motor cable, a break in the motor winding, or a faulty connection at the motor or drive terminals. This can lead to the motor operating unevenly or failing to run.

Vanlige årsaker

  • One or more phases in the motor output connection are open or shorted.
  • Motor winding fault (e.g., short circuit between phases or to ground).
  • Loose or damaged output cable connections.
  • Internal output stage failure in the frequency converter.
  • Overcurrent condition on one or more output phases.

Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste

Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.

  1. 1

Perform a continuity check on all motor cables (U, V, W) from the drive's output terminals to the motor's terminal box.

  2. 2

Measure the resistance between motor phases (U-V, V-W, U-W) directly at the motor terminals — expect balanced resistance values matching the motor's specifications.

  3. 3

Measure the insulation resistance between each motor phase (U, V, W) and motor ground using a megger at 500VDC — expect a reading greater than 1 MΩ.
