This serial communication error occurs when an attempt is made to transmit parameter information without first setting the CLM01.3-M to Parameter mode. It also triggers if specific LM Control Commands like "I CLO $DF" are transmitted in Automatic mode.

• Attempting to send parameter write commands or specific LM control commands when the CLM01.3-M is not in the appropriate operating mode (e.g., Manual or Parameter mode).
• Incorrect mode selection (via physical inputs or serial commands) for the desired operation.
• Sending device software logic error, failing to issue mode change commands before critical operations.
• Corrupted mode status in the CLM01.3-M due to a transient error.

   Before transmitting parameter information, ensure the CLM01.3-M is in Parameter mode.
