E
Abnormal Charge of Capacitor Module (ECM)
Fanuc · Alpha i Series AC Servo Motor and Spindle
What does E mean?
The Capacitor Modules are not charging as expected. This indicates a problem with the charging process or a fault within the capacitor modules preventing them from holding charge.
Common Causes
- Abnormalities detected during the charging process of the capacitor module.
- Faulty charging circuit or control logic within the ECM.
- Capacitor module has developed internal shorts or leakage.
- Inconsistent charging current or voltage readings from sensors.
- Parameters related to capacitor charging (e.g., P5-xx) are incorrectly configured.
