Communication Error2
Yaskawa · GA500 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
¿Qué significa dCE2 ?
Similar to dCE1, this communication error points to a temporary drive hardware issue primarily caused by electrical noise. This can lead to unreliable drive performance, erratic operation, and potential system downtime.
Causas comunes
- Transient voltage spikes or surges on the control power supply (e.g., 24VDC) disrupting internal logic.
- Failure of optical isolators or galvanic isolation barriers used in internal communication paths.
- Inadequate shielding of internal communication traces on the PCB, making them susceptible to crosstalk.
- Software timeout in an internal communication protocol due to excessive processing load or unexpected delays.
- Corrosion or oxidation on critical internal board-to-board connector pins, causing high resistance.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
1. Reset the drive (e.g., by cycling the control power via terminal S1/SC or equivalent) and check status.
- 2
2. Check the integrity of the main earth connection from the drive to the central grounding point.
- 3
3. Inspect for loose internal components or boards that may be vibrating and causing intermittent connections.
- 4
4. Review the ambient environment for strong electromagnetic fields or radio frequency interference (RFI) sources.
- 5
5. Replace any suspect internal ribbon cables or small interconnection wires that appear stressed or damaged.
- 6
6. If the drive is equipped with a fan, verify its operation and ensure proper airflow over internal components.
