Digital Operator Connection Fault
Yaskawa · E7 Drive
¿Qué significa OPR ?
The Drive stopped because the digital operator was removed while the Drive was commanded to run through it. This indicates either the operator is not attached, its connector is broken, or parameter o2-06 is set incorrectly, preventing proper control.
Causas comunes
- The digital operator (keypad) was physically removed from the drive while the run command source parameter (e.g., B1-02) was set to 'Digital Operator'.
- Loose or damaged connection cable between the digital operator and the drive, causing intermittent communication loss.
- The digital operator itself is faulty, preventing proper communication with the drive's control board.
- Parameter o2-01 (or similar) related to operator timeout or disconnection action is set to trigger a fault rather than a warning or ignore.
- Internal communication circuit fault on the drive's control board for the operator interface port.

- 1
1. Ensure the digital operator is securely attached to the drive's communication port. Check for physical damage to the connector pins on both the operator and the drive.
- 2
2. If the run command source (B1-02) is not intended to be the digital operator, change it to 'Terminal block' or 'Serial Communication' as appropriate for the application.
- 3
3. Replace the digital operator with a known good unit to determine if the fault is with the operator itself.
- 4
4. Check the parameter for digital operator disconnection action (e.g., o2-01). If it's set to 'Fault', consider changing it to 'Warning' or 'Stop' if operator removal is an expected action.
- 5
5. Power cycle the drive after re-attaching or replacing the digital operator to re-establish communication.
