This warning indicates an issue related to the hardware control of the external braking resistor connected to the IndraDrive MPx02. This could imply a fault in the braking resistor circuit, the drive's internal brake chopper, or its control, preventing effective dissipation of regenerative energy.

• Overload or overheating of the braking resistor, causing its thermal protection to trip.
• Short circuit or open circuit in the braking resistor wiring.
• Internal fault of the drive's brake chopper circuit.
• Incorrect sizing or parameterization of the braking resistor in the drive configuration.
• Failure of the thermal switch on the resistor (if equipped) to provide accurate feedback.

   Inspect the braking resistor and its wiring for any signs of damage, loose connections, or overheating. Allow it to cool if hot.

   Measure the resistance of the braking resistor to confirm it matches the specified value and is not open-circuited or short-circuited.

   Check if the braking resistor has an integrated thermal switch and verify its continuity; if open, the resistor is likely overheated.

   Verify that the braking resistor's power rating and resistance are correctly configured in the IndraDrive MPx02 parameters (e.g., P-0-0115, Braking resistor continuous power).
