Automatic Motor Tuning Not Possible
Danfoss · VLT 2800 Variable Speed Drive
¿Qué significa 50 ?
This fault occurs because the drive is unable to perform Automatic Motor Tuning (AMT). This could be due to the calculated motor resistance (RS) falling outside permitted limits, insufficient motor current in one or more phases, or the motor being too small for accurate AMT calculations. An incomplete AMT prevents optimal motor control and efficiency.
Causas comunes
- Calculated motor resistance (Rs) falls outside the permitted limits for Automatic Motor Tuning (AMT), indicating a motor or cable issue.
- Insufficient motor current during the AMT process, often due to an undersized motor or a motor disconnected from the drive.
- Excessive mechanical load connected to the motor during the AMT procedure (Parameter P5-01=1 requires no load).
- An open phase in the motor cable or motor winding preventing the drive from measuring motor parameters accurately.
- Motor nameplate data (P3-01 to P3-10) entered incorrectly or inconsistently, leading to invalid initial conditions for AMT.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
1. Ensure the motor is completely uncoupled from any mechanical load before initiating Automatic Motor Tuning (P5-01 = 1).
- 2
2. Verify all motor nameplate data (P3-01 Motor rated power, P3-02 Motor rated current, etc.) is correctly entered.
- 3
3. Measure the resistance between each motor phase (U-V, V-W, W-U) at the drive's output terminals; values should be balanced within 5%.
- 4
4. Check all motor cable connections at the drive (U, V, W) and at the motor terminal box for tightness and corrosion.
- 5
5. If the motor is suspected to be too small, consult the drive's manual for minimum motor size requirements for AMT.
