Short circuit at the motor end
Lenze · i550 Protec Drive
Was bedeutet 0x2340 ?
This fault indicates a short circuit specifically in the motor cable. When detected, the inverter immediately disables the drive, leading to the motor coasting without torque.
Häufige Ursachen
- Direct phase-to-phase short circuit within the motor cable due to insulation damage (e.g., crushing, abrasion).
- Loose strands of motor cable wire bridging two phases at the inverter output terminals or motor input terminals.
- Internal motor winding short circuit (turn-to-turn or phase-to-phase) within the motor itself.
- Contamination (e.g., metal filings, conductive liquids) creating a short path at the motor's terminal box.
Reparaturschritte & Checkliste
Klicken Sie auf Schritte, um Ihren Fortschritt zu verfolgen.
- 1
De-energize the drive and lock out power at the main disconnect.
- 2
Disconnect the motor cable from both the inverter output terminals (U, V, W) and the motor input terminals (U1, V1, W1).
- 3
Measure continuity between each phase conductor (U, V, W) of the motor cable using a multimeter; expect infinite resistance (open circuit).
- 4
Visually inspect the entire length of the motor cable for any external damage, cuts, or crushing that could compromise insulation.
- 5
Inspect inverter terminal blocks and motor terminal box for stray wire strands, debris, or improper wiring that could cause a short.
- 6
Measure the resistance between motor phases (U1-V1, U1-W1, V1-W1) at the motor terminals to verify winding integrity; expect balanced, low resistance readings.
