What does F8022 mean?

This is a fatal error encountered during drive operation. When F8022 occurs, the closed-loop or open-loop U/f control of the drive is no longer guaranteed. The drive immediately switches off, becoming torque-free, overriding settings in P-0-0119 and P-0-0117.

  • An unspecified error condition detected during the operational phase of the drive.

    Clear the error message using command S-0-0099 (C0500 Reset class 1 diagnostics). This may require switching to parameter mode or a complete drive power cycle.

    Ensure the drive is in operating mode and power is switched on ("Ab").

    Switch on drive enable again (0-1 edge).

  4. 4

    If this fatal error recurs repeatedly, replacement of an entire component (e.g. motor or drive controller) may be necessary.
