   Inspect motor power cable connections at both the Yaskawa P1000 AC Drive output terminals (U, V, W) and the motor terminal box for tightness, corrosion, and visible damage.

   Measure the resistance between each motor phase (U-V, V-W, U-W) using a multimeter and measure insulation resistance from each phase to ground using a megohmmeter to verify motor winding integrity and insulation.

   Verify all critical motor parameters configured in the Yaskawa P1000 AC Drive (e.g., motor rated voltage, current, frequency, RPM, pole count, auto-tuning status) precisely match the connected motor's nameplate data.

   Inspect the mechanical load connected to the motor for any obstructions, excessive friction, or binding that could impede free rotation, and confirm the motor shaft can rotate freely when power is off.
