SToF
Safe Disable Signal Fault
Yaskawa · GA700 AC Drive
What does SToF mean?
This fault indicates an inconsistency in the Safe Disable input channels (H1-HC and H2-HC), where one channel is open and the other is short-circuited. This condition signals a potential issue or damage within either the Safe Disable circuit or the drive itself, which compromises the 'Safe Torque Off' safety function. It requires immediate troubleshooting to restore the safety integrity of the system.
Additional Steps
Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.
- 3
Thoroughly check the external wiring between the H1-HC and H2-HC terminals for any signs of short circuits or disconnections that could be causing the inconsistent input status.
