Shorted Thyristor or Wrong Connection

What does SSCr mean?

One or more thyristors within the soft starter have been detected as shorted, or an incorrect motor connection has been identified. This fault prevents proper current control and can lead to uncontrolled motor operation or damage.

   Perform an insulation resistance test on the motor windings and cables.

   If connections and insulation are confirmed to be satisfactory, contact Schneider Electric services as the fault may indicate an internal thyristor failure within the soft starter.
