413
FIELD CURRENT TRACKING FAULT
Otis · DSD 412 DC Elevator Drive
What does 413 mean?
The actual field current is failing to track the field current command by more than F192 (default = 0.05PU) for 5 seconds. This is not a shutdown fault, but a warning.
Common Causes
- Incorrect AC voltage on AC1 and AC2.
- Drives not using correct self-tune values.
- Field response set incorrectly.
- Failing to track field current command by more than F192 for 5 seconds.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check AC voltage on AC1 and AC2; it should typically be 1.5 to 2.5 times VACmin where VACmin = VDC/0.9 or (Full Fld Amps * Field resistance)/0.9.
- 2
Verify that the drive is using correct self-tune values and/or field response settings.
- 3
Monitor F620 (Fld Trkg Diff); it should be less than F192.
- 4
Adjust F192 ('F413 Detect Level') to a higher value if necessary, but observe caution prior to doing this.
