E43

Drive Programming Invalid Instruction

Omron · MX2 Inverter

What does E43 mean?

This fault indicates an issue with the Drive Programming logic stored in the inverter's memory. It can be triggered if the program data is corrupted or if the PRG (Drive Programming start) terminal is activated without a valid program having been successfully downloaded or stored.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Check for any external electrical noise or power fluctuations that might corrupt inverter memory, particularly during programming.

  2. 4

Verify that the PRG input terminal (option code 82) is not inadvertently activated without a valid program loaded.

  3. 5

If the error persists, there may be an internal memory fault; contact Omron technical support for further diagnosis.
