E37

Safe Stop Active

Omron · MX2 Inverter

What does E37 mean?

This fault is triggered when the Safe Stop function is activated, indicating that a safety-related input (GS1/GS2) has been interrupted or commanded, initiating an immediate and safe shutdown of the motor output. The inverter explicitly signals this state to ensure safety compliance and prevent unintended motion.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Rectify the condition that caused the Safe Stop activation in the safety circuit.

  2. 4

Reset the safety circuit and then the inverter (via Stop/Reset key or RS input) to clear the E37 fault and restore operation.

  3. 5

Check for any loose or damaged wiring in the safety circuit that could lead to intermittent activations.
