The OL3 alarm indicates that the motor's current or torque has exceeded the programmed Overtorque Detection 1 Level (L6-02) for a duration longer than the Overtorque Detection 1 Time (L6-03). This suggests an excessive mechanical load or an obstruction in the driven equipment.

• Actual motor torque exceeding the Overtorque Detection 1 Level (L6-02) for a duration longer than Overtorque Detection 1 Time (L6-03).
• Mechanical jam, blockage, or sudden increase in load in the driven equipment.
• Overtorque Detection 1 Level (L6-02) set too low for normal operating transients of the application.
• Incorrect Overtorque Detection 1 Time (L6-03) set too short, causing nuisance trips on momentary load peaks.
• Loss or corruption of speed/position feedback in closed-loop control, causing the motor to over-exert.
