Leakage Inductance Fault
Yaskawa · F7 Drive
Hva betyr Er - 13 ?
Auto-Tuning failed to complete within the expected time frame or the resulting leakage inductance value fell outside the acceptable parameter range. This indicates an inconsistency with the motor's electrical characteristics as measured during tuning, likely due to incorrect input data or motor wiring problems affecting the measurement.
Vanlige årsaker
- Incorrect or mismatched motor data entered into the drive's parameters (e.g., E1-01, E1-02, E1-03), leading to an inability to properly model the motor during auto-tuning.
- Motor cable length is too long or incorrect cable type used, causing excessive cable capacitance and inductance that distorts the auto-tuning measurements.
- Motor's electrical characteristics are outside the typical range for the drive (e.g., very high inductance, very low inductance motor) making auto-tuning difficult.
- Intermittent connection or high resistance in the motor phases (U/T1, V/T2, W/T3) or motor windings, affecting the impedance measurements.

- 1
Carefully verify all motor nameplate data (Rated Current E1-01, Rated Voltage E1-02, Rated Frequency E1-03, Poles E1-04) is accurately programmed into the drive.
- 2
Ensure that the motor cable length is within the manufacturer's recommended limits for the drive and that shielded, appropriate gauge cable is used.
- 3
Perform an insulation resistance test (megger) on the motor and motor cables to detect any intermittent shorts or insulation breakdown.
- 4
Measure the inductance of each motor phase using a suitable LCR meter, if available, to compare against typical values for the motor's power rating.
- 5
Try performing static auto-tuning (if supported by drive and relevant parameter setting, e.g., A1-04 = 0 or 1) instead of rotational auto-tuning if the motor is not safely disconnected from load.
