Safe Stop
Vacon · NXP AFE-II Drive
Hva betyr F83 ?
This fault is triggered by a digital input, indicating that a safe stop command or condition has been activated from an external device. This is a critical safety interlock.
Vanlige årsaker
- Activation of an emergency stop button (E-Stop) connected to a dedicated safety input (e.g., STO input, Safe Stop DI).
- Triggering of a safety light curtain, safety scanner, or safety gate switch connected to the drive's safe stop input.
- Fault condition detected by an external safety relay or safety PLC, which then deactivates the safe stop input signal.
- Loss of a critical enabling signal (e.g., 24VDC Safe Enable) to the drive's safety circuit, leading to a safe stop state.
- Broken or shorted wiring on the safe stop input circuit (e.g., between STO1, STO2, or safe DI) causing an unintended activation.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Identify the specific external safety device (e.g., E-Stop, light curtain) connected to the drive's safe stop input (e.g., STO terminals).
- 2
Visually inspect and reset all active safety devices in the system to ensure they are in their safe, non-tripped state.
- 3
Measure the voltage at the drive's safe stop input terminals (e.g., STO1, STO2 or Safe DI to COM) to verify the expected input signal.
- 4
Verify the integrity of the safety circuit wiring, including cable continuity and terminal connections, from the safety device to the drive.
- 5
Check diagnostic LEDs on any connected safety relays or safety PLCs for fault codes or status indications.
- 6
Review parameter settings related to safe stop configuration (e.g., P7-01 for Safe Torque Off function) to ensure correct setup.
