TM120/TM150 Temperature Fault Channel 2

This fault is triggered when the actual temperature (r4105[2]) for channel 2 on the Terminal Module 120 (TM120) or Terminal Module 150 (TM150) exceeds its configured fault threshold (p4102[5]), or if an associated timer (p4103[2]) expires. If a BICO interconnection exists, this fault will cause the drive to shut down. The fault will persist until the temperature falls below the threshold (minus hysteresis) and is acknowledged.

• High thermal stress due to continuous heavy load on the equipment monitored by channel 2, leading to sustained elevated temperatures.
• Suboptimal environmental conditions, such as high cabinet temperature, reducing the heat dissipation capability of the TM120/TM150 or monitored device.
• Failed temperature sensor attached to channel 2, resulting in an incorrect, high value for r4105[2].
• Obstruction of ventilation pathways or failure of the dedicated cooling system for the component monitored by channel 2.
• Fault threshold parameter p4102[5] (Temperature fault threshold channel 2) set with insufficient margin above the component's typical operating temperature.
