Power unit: Overtemperature heat sink AC inverter
Siemens · DCM
Hva betyr A05000 ?
The alarm threshold for overtemperature at the AC inverter's heat sink has been reached. This indicates that the power unit is operating at an elevated temperature. If the temperature increases by an additional 5 K, it will trigger fault F30004, potentially leading to a drive shutdown and component damage.
Vanlige årsaker
- Restricted airflow around the drive's heat sink due to dust accumulation, blocked vents, or insufficient clearance.
- Ambient temperature in the enclosure or room exceeding the drive's specified operating limits (e.g., >40°C).
- Cooling fan failure or reduced speed on the power unit, detected by a separate fan monitoring system (e.g., internal sensor).
- Excessive motor load or continuous operation at high overload conditions, leading to sustained heat generation in the power semiconductors.
- Malfunctioning temperature sensor on the heat sink providing an inaccurate reading (rare, usually a fault like A03520).
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Verify the enclosure ambient temperature does not exceed the drive's specified maximum operating temperature (e.g., 40°C or 50°C, refer to datasheet).
- 2
Inspect the drive's heat sink and cooling fins for dust buildup or obstructions and clean them thoroughly using compressed air (non-conductive).
- 3
Check the operation of the power unit's internal cooling fan(s) by observing rotation during operation or checking fan speed feedback (if available, e.g., P0610).
- 4
Monitor the actual motor load (e.g., r0027, r0030) and compare it to the motor's rated current (P0305) to ensure it's not consistently overloaded.
- 5
Ensure minimum clearance distances around the drive, especially above and below for cooling air circulation, are maintained as per installation manual.
