Thermal overload of brake coil or brake coil defective / connected incorrectly
SEW Eurodrive · MOVIFIT-FC Inverter
Hva betyr 89 ?
The brake coil has experienced thermal overload, is defective, or is connected incorrectly. This can be triggered by a ramp time set too short, an issue identified during brake inspection, or an incorrect combination of the drive (brake coil) and MOVIFIT®-FC frequency inverter. It indicates a problem with the braking system's integrity or control.
Vanlige årsaker
- Brake coil overheated due to sustained current.
- Incorrect wiring of the brake coil (e.g., reversed polarity).
- Brake coil resistance outside of specification.
- Mechanical binding of the brake mechanism.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Increase the set ramp time in the inverter parameters.
- 2
Perform a brake inspection as detailed in the motor operating instructions.
- 3
Check the brake coil connection for proper wiring and integrity.
- 4
If the fault occurs shortly after the first enable, verify the combination of the drive (brake coil) and MOVIFIT®-FC frequency inverter.
- 5
For combinations of "MOVIFIT®-FC" and "motors with one power rating lower," check the setting of DIP switch S10/5.
- 6
Reset the fault by switching off the DC 24 V supply voltage.
