Keypad Key Alarm
Schneider Electric · Altistart 22 Soft Starter
Hva betyr A-17 ?
An alarm indicating a problem with the keypad's physical keys. This can be triggered by a key being held down continuously for too long, a disconnected membrane switch, or a key being pressed during keypad power-up.
Vanlige årsaker
- A physical key on the keypad is stuck in the pressed position due to debris, mechanical failure, or membrane damage.
- Internal keypad membrane switch damage causing continuous electrical contact for one or more keys.
- Keypad mounting issue, causing external pressure to be continuously applied to a key (e.g., enclosure too tight).
- Keypad firmware glitch or internal electronics issue intermittently detecting a pressed key.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
1. Carefully inspect all physical keys on the keypad for signs of sticking or damage; attempt to gently free any stuck keys.
- 2
2. Remove the keypad from its mounting and check if the alarm clears, indicating external pressure on a key.
- 3
3. Power cycle the soft starter (power off, wait 30 seconds, power on) to clear any temporary firmware glitches.
- 4
4. If possible, clean around the key buttons to remove any accumulated dirt or debris that might be causing a key to stick.
- 5
5. Replace the keypad unit if physical inspection and power cycling do not resolve the continuous key press detection.
