Ground Fault

Hva betyr EF2 ?

This fault signals a ground fault in the motor or the motor cables, indicating an insulation breakdown or improper grounding in the output circuit of the Altivar 212 drive.

• Ground fault in the motor windings.
• Ground fault in the motor cables.

   Measure insulation resistance between motor phases and ground using a megger.

   Measure insulation resistance between motor cables and ground using a megger.

   Inspect motor and motor cables for physical damage or wear causing a ground path.
