• Failure of one or more Thyristors (SCRs) or IGBTs in the controlled rectifier bridge.
• Faulty gate driver circuit for the SCRs/IGBTs in the HCB.
• Issues with the commutation inductance or filtering components associated with the HCB.
• Control board malfunction causing incorrect firing pulses to the HCB.
• Short circuit or open circuit in the HCB power cabling or connections.
