These faults are generic user-defined trip codes triggered by specific conditions programmed within the Drive Programming application (E50 corresponds to user trip 0, E51 to user trip 1, etc.). They allow technicians to implement custom safety or operational interlocks, causing the inverter to trip and display a user-defined error code when those conditions are met.

• A specific condition defined by the user in the Drive Programming (DP) logic has been met (e.g., motor current exceeded X for Y seconds, sensor input below Z).
• External sensor input exceeding or falling below a predefined threshold, as monitored by the DP program.
• Timer or counter within the DP program reaching a programmed limit, triggering the user trip.
• Logical error in the DP program that unintentionally triggers the user trip condition under normal operating parameters.
