Abnormally Low Current / L3 Open Phase

Abnormally low current or no current has been detected by the current transformer (CT) on L3. This indicates an open phase condition detected at L3 (secondary side of contactor), which can prevent the compressor from operating correctly.

• Measured current is significantly lower than expected during operation.
• L3 power phase is disconnected or has a break in the wiring.
• Low refrigerant charge leading to reduced compressor load.
• Faulty current sensor or CT within the inverter module.
• Compressor not engaging properly.

   Measure the current on phase L3 using a clamp meter, confirming if it is abnormally low or zero.

   Inspect the current transformer (CT) on L3 for proper connection and functionality, ensuring it is correctly installed around the L3 power cable.

   Verify the connections and operation of the contactor, especially on the secondary side for L3, checking for burned contacts.
