Ballast circuit overload, KPP/KSP (axis)
Kuka · KR C4 Operating Instructions
Hva betyr 26051 ?
The braking energy in the ballast circuit is permanently too high. This often results from frequent or heavy braking operations that exceed the continuous power rating or capacity of the brake resistor, leading to potential overheating.
Vanlige årsaker
- The ballast circuit within the KPP/KSP drive is overloaded.
- Excessive current draw from the ballast circuit.
- Faulty component in the ballast circuit (e.g., capacitor, resistor).
- Overheating of the ballast resistor.
- Control signal error for the ballast circuit.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Review and reduce heavy loads that are braked too frequently within the application program.
- 2
Check the ballast resistor for physical damage or an incorrect resistance value using a multimeter.
- 3
Check the cabling between the KPP and the ballast resistor for continuity, short circuits, and proper connections.
- 4
Reinitialize the drive bus by performing a Power Off / Power On cycle of the entire system.
- 5
Check the KPP module itself for internal faults if the ballast circuit components are verified correct.
