Current limit
Danfoss · VLT HVAC Basic FC 101
Hva betyr WARNING 59 ?
The motor current has exceeded the value set in parameter 4-18 (Current Limit). The drive is actively limiting the current to protect itself and the motor, but prolonged operation at this limit indicates an overloaded condition that can cause wear or damage.
Vanlige årsaker
- Excessive mechanical load on the motor shaft, causing the motor to draw more current than P4-18 allows.
- Motor nominal current (P1-21) set too low or Current Limit (P4-18) set too restrictively for the application.
- Motor running at very low speeds where torque demand often requires higher current and can hit the limit.
- Mechanical binding or friction in the driven equipment (e.g., worn bearings, gearbox, pump impeller).
- Short circuit or ground fault in the motor windings or motor cable, leading to excessive current draw.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Measure the actual motor current with a clamp meter on phases U, V, W and compare with the value set in P4-18.
- 2
Adjust parameter P4-18 (Current Limit) to a higher, safe value, typically 150-180% of P1-21 (Motor nominal current).
- 3
Inspect the mechanical system for binding, worn bearings, or blockages that could increase load.
- 4
Verify motor nameplate data against P1-20, P1-21, P1-22 and re-perform AMA if necessary.
- 5
Check for phase imbalance at the motor terminals (U, V, W) which could indicate a motor or cable issue.
