A phase signal (A, B, or Z) from the pulse encoder connected to the ABB ACS800 drive is missing. This fault (3.31 AW 6 bit 3) is related to programmable Fault Function 50.07.

• Damage to the pulse encoder unit itself.
• Breakage, loose connections, or incorrect wiring in the pulse encoder cable.
• Faulty pulse encoder interface module (if used) or its internal circuitry.
• Improper parameter settings related to the encoder configuration in the drive.
