Overvoltage Error
Mitsubishi Electric · PUZ-HA30/36NHA4 Outdoor Unit
What does 01 mean?
This fault indicates that an overvoltage condition has been detected by the controller circuit board during operation or error postponement (U9 status). Sustained overvoltage can lead to premature failure of electronic components, especially on the power circuit and controller boards, impacting overall system reliability.
Repair Steps
- 1
Check the incoming power supply voltage at the unit's main terminals to ensure it is within the specified operating range.
- 2
Inspect the wiring connections related to the power supply for any loose or corroded terminals that could cause voltage fluctuations or spikes.
- 3
Examine the controller circuit board for any visible signs of damage, such as burnt components or traces, which might indicate a power surge or internal fault.
- 4
If the incoming power is stable and within limits, and no wiring issues are found, consider replacing the controller circuit board.
