E.OPT
Option alarm
Mitsubishi Electric · A500 Inverter
What does E.OPT mean?
This alarm stops the inverter output if two or more communication options are fitted (with exceptions for FR-A5NR). If a high power factor converter is connected, this alarm appears if an AC power supply is accidentally connected to the R, S, T <L1, L2, L3> terminals, which can result in inverter damage.
Repair Steps
- 1
Verify that only one communication option (excluding FR-A5NR if used solely for relay output) is installed in the inverter.
- 2
If a high power factor converter is connected, confirm that no AC power supply is connected to the R, S, T <L1, L2, L3> terminals.
- 3
Check the setting of parameter Pr. 30.
- 4
Verify the wiring for high power factor converter connections.
