E.LF
Output phase loss
Mitsubishi Electric · FR E700
What does E.LF mean?
An output phase loss fault occurs if one of the three output phases (U, V, W) to the motor is lost during inverter operation (excluding specific conditions). This can cause motor damage due to imbalanced currents and will stop the inverter output. Protection is selected via Pr. 251.
Repair Steps
- 1
Thoroughly check and secure all wiring connections between the inverter output and the motor.
- 2
Verify the motor's integrity and ensure its capacity is not less than that of the inverter.
- 3
Review and adjust the Pr. 251 (Output phase loss protection selection) setting as required.
