What does E.11 mean?
During torque control under Real sensorless vector control, if the speed command and estimated speed directions differ when reversing, the motor may not decelerate correctly at low speeds. This leads to an overload condition, shutting off the inverter output. This protective function is specific to Real sensorless vector control and prevents motor overcurrents.
Common Causes
- Incorrect tuning of the Real sensorless vector control parameters (e.g., Pr.801 to Pr.807 for motor constants).
- Load inertia is significantly higher than the motor's capability, causing difficulty in rapid deceleration or reversal.
- Motor's low-speed torque characteristics are insufficient for the application during direction change.
- External mechanical resistance (e.g., brake not releasing completely) interfering with motor deceleration.
- Inaccurate motor constant setup in Pr.96 (Motor capacity) or Pr.99 (Rated frequency) affecting estimated speed calculation.
