1080H
Flash ROM Write Count Error
Mitsubishi Electric · MELSEC iQ-R Module Dedicated Instructions
What does 1080H mean?
This error occurs if an attempt is made to write data to the Flash ROM memory more than 25 times after the power is turned on or the CPU module is reset once. It also triggers if attempts to write data to the Flash ROM exceed a maximum of one hundred thousand times over the module's lifetime, resulting in write failure.
Common Causes
- Attempt to write data to the Flash ROM memory beyond 25 times after power-on or CPU module reset.
- Attempt to write data to the Flash ROM beyond a maximum lifetime count of one hundred thousand times.
- The write program contains logic that causes excessive or redundant Flash ROM write attempts.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Check and modify the write program to prevent excessive Flash ROM write attempts within a single power cycle.
- 2
Reset the error of the positioning module using the '[Cd.5] Axis error reset' function.
- 3
Cycle power to the system, or reset the CPU module again to clear the temporary write count for the current power cycle.
