26112

Heat sink temperature too high, KPP/KSP (axis)

Kuka · KR C4 Operating Instructions

What does 26112 mean?

An overtemperature condition has been detected specifically on the heat sink of the KPP or KSP device for a specific axis. This indicates that the component responsible for dissipating heat from the power electronics is not functioning effectively, leading to elevated temperatures. Persistent high heat sink temperatures can degrade component performance and longevity.

Repair Steps

  1. 1

Check the operational status of the cabinet cooling fan.

  2. 2

Measure the ambient temperature at the installation site of the equipment.

  3. 3

Review the program load and reduce it if it is found to be excessively high.

  4. 4

Inspect the cooling circuit for any dirt accumulation and clean as necessary to ensure proper heat dissipation.

  5. 5

Verify that the installation site provides adequate ventilation and maintains specified clearance around the unit's ventilation slits.

  6. 6

Perform a Power Off / Power On cycle of the entire system to reinitialize the drive bus.
