Monitoring Space Violation Alarm
Kuka · KR C4 compact
What does MRx mean?
This alarm signifies that a defined monitoring space (ranging from 1 to 16) has been violated by an object or part of the robot. An inactive monitoring space is also considered violated by default. When violated, the associated safe output MRx transitions to state '0', indicating an infringement that could lead to collisions or safety zone breaches.
Repair Steps
- 1
Physically inspect the specified monitoring space (e.g., Monitoring Space 1, 2, etc.) for any objects, tooling, or robot components intruding into its defined boundaries.
- 2
Access the robot controller's safety configuration to verify that Monitoring Space X is correctly defined, active, and its parameters (e.g., teach points, dimensions) are accurate.
- 3
If the space is intentionally inactive, confirm this configuration within the safety program and ensure alternative safety measures are adequately implemented.
- 4
Re-teach or adjust the boundaries of Monitoring Space X if the physical environment has changed or the initial setup was incorrect, ensuring no false triggers.
