MR6

Alarm Space 6 Violation

Kuka · KK53Y Servo Motor

What does MR6 mean?

The MR6 signal indicates a violation of monitoring space 6. A '0' state on this signal means that monitoring space 6 is currently being infringed upon. If monitoring space 6 is intentionally inactive, the system considers it violated by default, and the associated safe output MR6 will be in the '0' state.

Repair Steps

  1. 1

Identify the configured boundaries for monitoring space 6 in the robot's programming environment (e.g., using KUKA WorkVisual).

  2. 2

Physically inspect the robot's current position and ensure no part of the manipulator, external axes, or tooling is entering or has entered the defined monitoring space 6.

  3. 3

If monitoring space 6 is intended to be inactive, verify this configuration in WorkVisual and acknowledge that the MR6 signal will default to a '0' (violated) state.
