MR15

Alarm Space 15 Violation

Kuka · KK53Y Servo Motor

What does MR15 mean?

The MR15 signal indicates a violation of monitoring space 15. A '0' state on this signal means that monitoring space 15 is currently being infringed upon. If monitoring space 15 is intentionally inactive, the system considers it violated by default, and the associated safe output MR15 will be in the '0' state.

Repair Steps

  1. 1

Identify the configured boundaries for monitoring space 15 in the robot's programming environment (e.g., using KUKA WorkVisual).

  2. 2

Physically inspect the robot's current position and ensure no part of the manipulator, external axes, or tooling is entering or has entered the defined monitoring space 15.

  3. 3

If monitoring space 15 is intended to be inactive, verify this configuration in WorkVisual and acknowledge that the MR15 signal will default to a '0' (violated) state.
