304
AC module overtemperature
Fronius · Primo GEN24 Operating Instructions
What does 304 mean?
This code indicates that the AC module within the inverter has reached an excessively high temperature. This causes a short-term interruption in energy feeding, after which the inverter will resume its startup routine once temperatures normalize.
Common Causes
- Restricted airflow to the inverter's cooling system due to blocked vents or dirty heat sinks.
- High ambient temperatures, or direct sunlight exposure on the inverter enclosure.
- Failure of internal cooling fans on the AC side.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Clean and purge all cooling air openings and the heat sink of the inverter.
- 2
Verify that the inverter is installed in a location with adequate ventilation and is not subjected to excessive ambient temperatures.
- 3
Inspect internal cooling fans responsible for AC module cooling.
