H
Regenerative Resistor Overheat (α i PSR)
Fanuc · Series 30i/31i/32i-MODEL B Plus
What does H mean?
This alarm indicates that the temperature of the regenerative resistor in the α i PSR unit has risen abnormally high. This can be caused by the resistor not being detected, an undersized resistor, excessive regenerative power, or a stopped cooling fan.
Common Causes
- Regenerative resistance not detected.
- Insufficient regenerative resistance specification.
- Excessive regenerative power due to high acceleration/deceleration frequency.
- Regenerative resistor cooling fan has stopped.
Repair Steps
- 1
Check the wiring for the regenerative resistance.
- 2
Review the specification for the regenerative resistance to ensure it is adequate for the application.
- 3
Reduce the frequency at which acceleration/deceleration occurs to manage regenerative power.
- 4
Check to see if the regenerative resistor cooling fan has stopped and replace it if necessary.
