Run Command Fault
Yaskawa · VS-616G5 Variable Speed Drive
¿Qué significa EF ?
This fault indicates an issue with the run command or a conflict in the command source (e.g., local/remote, digital input, serial). It prevents the inverter from starting or continuing operation. This can happen if the run command is unexpectedly lost, or if there's a discrepancy in how the inverter is commanded to run.
Causas comunes
- Conflicting run commands from multiple sources (e.g., digital input and serial communication) due to P0-01 (Run Source Selection) parameter misconfiguration.
- Digital input terminal (e.g., S1, S2) assigned for run command is not activated or has an open circuit.
- External safety interlock or E-stop circuit connected to a digital input preventing run command.
- Local/Remote mode switch on the inverter is in an unexpected position, overriding the intended run command source.
- Serial communication (MODBUS, network) run command not being sent or sent incorrectly.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Verify parameter P0-01 (Run Source Selection) is set correctly for the intended run command source (e.g., 0 for Keypad, 1 for Digital Inputs, 2 for Serial).
- 2
Measure voltage at the assigned digital input terminal (e.g., S1-SC) when a run command is expected (e.g., 24VDC for ON).
- 3
Check the state of external safety interlocks or E-stop buttons connected to the inverter's control terminals.
- 4
If using serial communication, confirm the run command bit (e.g., Bit 0 of register 0001h for MODBUS) is being written correctly.
- 5
Cycle power to the inverter and re-attempt the run command from a single, verified source.
