CPF04

CPU Internal A/D Converter Fault

Yaskawa · F7 Drive

¿Qué significa CPF04 ?

A fault in the CPU's internal Analog-to-Digital converter was detected. This issue typically results from noise or electrical spikes on the control circuit input terminals, impairing the CPU's ability to accurately process internal analog signals.

Causas comunes

  • Excessive voltage or current spikes on analog input terminals (e.g., A1, A2, A3) exceeding specified input ranges.
  • Severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) penetrating the drive's enclosure and affecting internal CPU components.
  • Internal hardware failure of the CPU's integrated A/D converter or its associated voltage reference circuit.
  • Ground loop issues causing common-mode noise on analog input signals, affecting conversion accuracy.
  • Contamination or physical damage to the CPU board or nearby components critical for A/D conversion.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Disconnect all analog input wiring (e.g., A1, A2, A3 terminals) from the drive to isolate external signal influence.

  2. 2

Verify the integrity of grounding connections for both the drive and external analog signal sources to prevent ground loops.

  3. 3

Measure the drive's internal control power supply (e.g., 24VDC output) to ensure it is stable and within specification.

  4. 4

Power cycle the drive, allowing sufficient time for internal components to fully reset (e.g., 60 seconds off).

  5. 5

Inspect the drive's main control board for any visible signs of component damage, contamination, or corrosion near the CPU.
