F81

Main Fuse

Vacon · NXP AFE-II Drive

¿Qué significa F81 ?

This fault is triggered by a digital input fault, indicating a problem related to the main fuse. It's an external input signaling a main fuse issue. This could mean the main fuse has blown or its monitoring circuit has an error.

Causas comunes

  • One or more main input fuses (e.g., F1, F2, F3) for the drive has blown due to an overcurrent, short circuit, or internal drive fault.
  • Auxiliary contact or fuse monitoring switch connected to the main fuse has failed or is incorrectly wired to the digital input (e.g., DI7).
  • Broken or loose control wiring between the fuse monitoring device and the drive's digital input (e.g., DI7, COM).
  • Incorrect configuration of the digital input parameter (e.g., P2-07 for DI7 function) leading to a false fault trigger.
  • An external event (e.g., utility surge, load short) caused an instantaneous overcurrent, exceeding fuse ratings.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Visually inspect the main input fuses (e.g., F1, F2, F3) for physical damage, then test continuity with an ohmmeter.

  2. 2

Identify the specific digital input (e.g., DI7) configured for main fuse monitoring via parameters like P2-07.

  3. 3

Measure the voltage across the identified digital input terminal (e.g., DI7 to COM) to confirm the state signaled by the fuse monitoring device.

  4. 4

Inspect the control wiring from the fuse monitoring device to the drive's digital input for breaks, shorts, or loose connections.

  5. 5

If the fuse is intact, temporarily bypass the fuse monitoring input (with extreme caution) to determine if the monitoring circuit itself is faulty.
