External PID Feedback Supervision Fault
Vacon · 100 FLOW Application Guide
¿Qué significa 105 ?
The feedback value for the external PID controller is outside its configured supervision limits (P3.14.4.2 and P3.14.4.3) for a specified delay (P3.14.4.4). This indicates a problem with the external process feedback, potentially leading to unstable control or incorrect process regulation. It signifies a deviation in the external process variable.
Causas comunes
- External process sensor providing feedback to the external PID controller is malfunctioning or has failed, sending an invalid signal.
- Feedback signal cable from the external sensor to the drive's designated analog input is damaged, disconnected, or suffering from interference.
- External PID supervision limits (P3.14.4.2 for low limit, P3.14.4.3 for high limit) are set too tightly for the external process's normal operating range.
- The external process is experiencing a severe disturbance, causing the feedback value to deviate beyond the configured supervision limits.
- The delay time for supervision (P3.14.4.4) is set too short, triggering the fault prematurely during normal process transients.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
1. Verify the physical external process feedback signal at the drive's assigned analog input terminal using a multimeter, comparing it to the actual process variable reading.
- 2
2. Inspect the wiring from the external process sensor to the drive's analog input for continuity, proper shielding, and secure connections.
- 3
3. Check the external sensor and its associated controller for proper operation, including its power supply, output range, and calibration.
- 4
4. Review and adjust the external PID feedback supervision parameters: P3.14.4.2 (low limit), P3.14.4.3 (high limit), and P3.14.4.4 (delay time) to match the process's expected behavior.
- 5
5. Observe the external process for any abnormal conditions (e.g., external valve failure, pump issues) that could cause the feedback deviation.
- 6
6. Ensure the analog input scaling (e.g., P3.3.2.2 for AI2 min value, P3.3.2.3 for AI2 max value) for the feedback signal is correctly configured.
