TM150 Temperature Alarm Channel 5

Siemens · SINAMICS S120/S150 Reference List

¿Qué significa A35411 ?

This alarm is initiated when the actual temperature (r4105[5]) for channel 5 on Terminal Module 150 (TM150) exceeds its configured alarm threshold (p4102[10]). A timer (p4103[5]) is also started. The alarm will clear once the temperature falls below the threshold, factoring in the defined hysteresis (p4118[5]).

Causas comunes

  • Monitored equipment on channel 5 running hotter than usual due to continuous heavy-duty operation or insufficient cooling capacity.
  • Alarm setpoint p4102[10] configured below the safe operating temperature range, causing nuisance alarms.
  • Poor thermal contact between the temperature sensor and the component it monitors on channel 5.
  • Accumulation of dirt or debris on the component's surface, reducing its ability to dissipate heat.
  • Intermittent electrical load fluctuations causing temporary localized overheating detected by channel 5.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

    1. Record the current temperature r4105[5] from the TM150 module and compare it with the component manufacturer's specifications.

  2. 2

    2. Review the parameter settings for p4102[10] (alarm threshold) and p4103[5] (timer delay) to confirm correct values.

  3. 3

    3. Physically inspect the temperature sensor mounting on the component for proper thermal coupling and mechanical integrity.

  4. 4

    4. Measure the ambient temperature near the monitored component using a separate thermometer to identify external heat sources.

  5. 5

    5. Clean the heat-dissipating surfaces of the component connected to channel 5 to improve thermal transfer.
